Meski kolom Purchase Code di tab [Start] dibiarkan kosong, pengaturan penggantian URL login, penyembunyian, dan mematikan XML-RPC yang dibahas di sini tetap tersimpan dan berfungsi. Hide My WP adalah plugin berbayar yang dijual di CodeCanyon.
2️⃣ Mengganti URL Login
Jika Hide Login Page di tab [Hiding] dinyalakan, [wp-login.php] bawaan mengembalikan 404, dan kolom Login Query serta Admin Login Key langsung terbuka begitu dicentang.
Masukkan alamat baru seperti newlogin di Change Login URL pada tab [Permalinks] lalu simpan, maka layar login terbuka di alamat itu. Jika alamat baru dibiarkan kosong, Anda hanya bisa masuk lewat URL cadangan yang memakai Login Query dan Admin Login Key, seperti [wp-login.php?hide_my_wp=1234]; karena URL cadangan ini terbuka di pengaturan apa pun, ganti nilai kuncinya dari bawaan 1234.
3️⃣ Pengaturan Hide Login Page & Hide Admin
Hide Login Page menyembunyikan layar login, sedangkan Hide Admin menyembunyikan /wp-admin/, alamat layar admin.
Jika hanya layar login yang disembunyikan, WordPress mengarahkan pengunjung yang belum masuk dan membuka /wp-admin/ ke URL login yang sudah diganti, sehingga alamat baru terbongkar. Ibarat mengganti kode pintu depan, tetapi pos satpam tetap memberi tahu kode baru kepada siapa saja yang bertanya.

Jika hanya layar login yang disembunyikan, /wp-login.php menjadi halaman yang tidak ada (404), tetapi pengunjung yang membuka /wp-admin/ dipindahkan ke URL login yang sudah diganti (302) dan jadi tahu alamat barunya.
Jika keduanya dinyalakan, /wp-admin/ dan /wp-login.php sama-sama menjadi halaman yang tidak ada (404), dan hanya admin yang tahu alamat yang sudah diganti yang bisa membuka layar login.
Jika Hide Admin juga dinyalakan, /wp-admin/ terlihat sebagai halaman yang tidak ada (404) bagi pengunjung yang belum masuk, sehingga URL login baru tidak bisa diketahui.
4️⃣ Mematikan XML-RPC
Meski URL login disembunyikan, [xmlrpc.php] tetap menjadi pintu masuk lain yang menerima nama pengguna dan sandi.
Jika Disable XML RPC di tab [Cleanup] dinyalakan, permintaan yang perlu login ditolak dengan 405 dan pesan [Layanan XML-RPC tidak tersedia di situs ini.], tetapi file [xmlrpc.php] sendiri tetap merespons. Agar permintaan tidak sampai ke PHP, blokir di pengaturan server.
Ada kalanya pengaturan tetap aktif meski centang Disable XML RPC sudah dilepas dan disimpan, jadi setelah menyimpan, periksa sekali lagi dengan respons yang sebenarnya.
5️⃣ Aturan .htaccess yang Tersisa setelah Hide My WP Dinonaktifkan
Saat Anda mengeklik [Save Settings], Hide My WP menambahkan aturan URL login baru di dalam blok WordPress pada .htaccess.

RewriteRule ^newlogin /wp-login.php?zV_hide_my_wp=1234 [QSA,L]Meski plugin dinonaktifkan, baris ini tetap ada di .htaccess, dan layar login terus terbuka di alamat yang sudah diganti. Saat membersihkan plugin, hapus baris ini dari .htaccess lalu simpan.
ℹ️ Pemberitahuan Afiliasi
Konten di situs ini berisi tautan afiliasi. Jika pengunjung membeli produk atau layanan melalui tautan tersebut, situs ini menerima komisi dari penjual. Harga yang dibayar pembeli(turun saat ada diskon promo ↓), tidak naik karena hal ini. Harga, diskon, dan informasi stok yang ditampilkan berlaku pada saat penulisan dan bisa berbeda dengan kondisi sebenarnya, jadi pastikan kembali di situs penjual sebelum membeli. Pemilihan dan penilaian produk dibuat berdasarkan standar kami sendiri, dan ada tidaknya komisi tidak memengaruhi urutan maupun isi penilaian.
