클라우드웨이즈 SFTP·SSH 접속은 서버 관리 화면의 Master Credentials에 있는 Public IP와 Username, Password로 하며, 포트는 22번입니다. 파일질라에서 포트를 비워 두면 FTP 21번으로 접속을 시도해 진행되지 않고, 브라우저에서 여는 웹 SSH 터미널에는 비밀번호를 붙여 넣을 수 없습니다.

1️⃣ 클라우드웨이즈 SFTP·SSH 계정 종류
클라우드웨이즈의 SFTP·SSH 계정은 서버 전체에 접속하는 마스터 자격 증명과 애플리케이션 하나에만 접속하는 애플리케이션 자격 증명 두 가지입니다. 마스터 자격 증명은 서버 메뉴의 [Master Credentials]에서 Public IP와 Username, Password를 확인하며, 접속하면 [/home/master]에서 시작합니다. [applications] 폴더 아래에 서버의 모든 애플리케이션 폴더가 있어, 사이트 하나의 파일만 맡기는 외주 작업자에게 전달하기에는 맞지 않습니다.
애플리케이션 자격 증명은 애플리케이션의 [Access Details] 맨 아래 [Application Credentials]에서 [Add SFTP User]를 눌러 만들며, 계정을 여러 개 추가할 수 있습니다. 이 계정으로 SFTP에 접속하면 해당 애플리케이션 폴더가 최상위 폴더(/)로 표시됩니다. SSH는 애플리케이션 설정의 [SSH Shell Access]가 기본으로 꺼져 있어, 로그인 직후 [Shell access is disabled !]가 표시되고 연결이 끊깁니다.
만든 계정은 [SSH/SFTP Details] 목록에 표시되며, 같은 방법으로 계정을 여러 개 추가할 수 있습니다.

2️⃣ 파일질라 SFTP 접속 설정
파일질라 Quickconnect에서 Port 칸을 비우고 Host에 IP만 넣으면 SFTP가 아니라 FTP로 접속을 시도합니다. 로그에 [Connecting to 서버 IP:21…]만 표시되고 진행되지 않는 것은 클라우드웨이즈 서버가 21번 포트에 응답하지 않기 때문입니다.
Host에 [sftp://]를 붙여 Public IP를 넣거나 Port에 22를 입력하고, Username과 Password는 마스터 자격 증명이나 애플리케이션 자격 증명 값을 붙여 넣습니다. 처음 접속하면 [Unknown host key] 창이 열립니다. [Always trust this host, add this key to the cache]에 체크하고 [OK]를 누르면 다음 접속부터 이 창이 나오지 않습니다.
마스터 자격 증명으로 접속했다면 워드프레스 파일은 [applications] › 애플리케이션 폴더 › [public_html]에 있습니다.

실제 FileZilla 화면을 줄여 그린 예시입니다. 칩을 차례로 누르거나 입력칸에 직접 입력합니다.
브라우저 안에서만 동작하며 서버에 접속하지 않습니다. FileZilla 영어판 화면을 줄여 그린 것이고 IP·계정·애플리케이션 폴더 이름은 예시 값입니다. 로그 문구와 폴더 목록은 클라우드웨이즈 테스트 서버에 실제로 접속해 확인한 것입니다.
3️⃣ 웹 SSH 터미널과 PowerShell 접속
파일질라로는 파일을 옮길 수 있지만, WP-CLI 같은 명령어는 SSH로 접속한 터미널에서 실행합니다. [Master Credentials]의 [Launch SSH Terminal]을 누르면 브라우저 새 탭에 웹 SSH 터미널이 열립니다. [login:]에 Username, [Password:]에 비밀번호를 입력하면 접속됩니다.
웹 SSH 터미널에는 복사한 비밀번호를 붙여 넣을 수 없어 직접 입력해야 하며, 입력한 글자는 화면에 표시되지 않습니다. 비밀번호를 붙여 넣어 접속하려면 윈도우 PowerShell에서 [ssh 계정@서버 IP]를 입력합니다.

클라우드웨이즈 마스터 계정에는 [ll] 별칭이 등록되어 있지 않아 [ll]을 입력하면 [bash: ll: command not found]가 표시되며, 파일 목록은 ls 명령어로 확인하게 됩니다. 시뮬레이터에는 [ll] 명령어도 반영했으며, [alias ll=’ls -l’]을 먼저 입력하면 [ll]로 같은 목록을 확인할 수 있습니다.
[.bashrc]는 잠금 속성이 걸려 있어 마스터 계정으로 수정할 수 없으며, 접속할 때마다 [ll]을 사용하려면 홈 폴더의 [.bash_aliases] 파일에 별칭을 저장합니다. 저장 방법은 리눅스 ls 명령어 글에서 확인할 수 있습니다.
4️⃣ SSH 키 등록
SSH 키 접속을 설정할 때 클라우드웨이즈에 등록하는 것은 개인 키가 아니라 공개 키입니다. 개인 키는 접속하는 컴퓨터에만 두고, [.pub]로 끝나는 공개 키 파일의 내용을 복사해 등록합니다.

키는 [ssh-keygen -t ed25519]로 만들며, 개인 키와 [.pub] 공개 키 두 파일이 생성됩니다. [Master Credentials]의 [SSH Public Keys]를 누르고 [Label]에 구분할 이름, [SSH Key]에 공개 키 내용을 넣은 뒤 [Submit]을 누릅니다.
SSH 키를 이미 등록했다면 [SSH Public Keys]를 눌렀을 때 [Label]과 [SSH Key] 칸 대신 키 목록과 [Add] 버튼이 먼저 표시됩니다.
[Master Credentials] 아래쪽의 [SSH Public Keys]를 누르면 [Add/Update SSH Keys] 창이 열립니다.

등록한 키는 같은 창에 [Label] 이름으로 표시되며, 옆의 연필·휴지통 아이콘으로 수정하거나 삭제합니다. 키를 등록한 뒤 [ssh -i 개인 키 파일 계정@서버 IP]로 접속하면, passphrase를 비워 둔 키는 아무것도 묻지 않고 바로 로그인됩니다.
5️⃣ Shell Access IP 화이트리스트 설정
클라우드웨이즈 서버에 SSH·SFTP로 접속할 수 있는 IP는 서버의 [Security] › [Shell Access]에서 정합니다. 기본값은 [Allow all IP addresses, except those blocked by the Cloudways security system.]입니다. 모든 IP의 접속을 허용하며, 자격 증명을 여러 번 틀린 IP는 클라우드웨이즈 보안 시스템이 차단합니다.
[Block all IP addresses, except those on the Whitelist.]를 고르고, [Add IP to Whitelist]에 접속할 PC의 공인 IP를 넣어 [Add]를 누릅니다. 목록에 들어간 IP가 맞는지 확인한 뒤 [Save Changes]를 누릅니다.

테스트 서버에서 PC 한 대의 IP만 넣고 저장한 결과, 목록에 있는 PC는 그대로 접속되었습니다. 목록에 없는 다른 서버에서는 [ssh: connect to host 서버 IP port 22: Connection timed out]이 표시되었습니다.
화이트리스트 방식에서 목록을 비운 채 저장하면 내 PC를 포함한 모든 IP가 막힙니다. 이때도 클라우드웨이즈 관리 화면은 열리므로, 같은 메뉴에서 기본값으로 바꿔 저장하면 다시 접속됩니다.
