Hide My WP (Hide My WordPress) thay đổi hoặc ẩn URL đăng nhập của WordPress, wp-admin và đường dẫn theme, plugin; với các tính năng chính và phần bổ sung này, nó có thể được xếp vào nhóm plugin bảo mật WordPress. Vì WordPress để lộ nguyên địa chỉ đăng nhập wp-admin, bạn có thể ẩn nó bằng một plugin bảo mật giúp tăng cường bảo vệ.

1️⃣ Màn hình cài đặt Hide My WP
Màn hình [Settings] của plugin Hide My WP chia thành sáu tab: Start, Hiding, Permalinks, Protection, Cleanup và Replace. URL đăng nhập và tùy chọn ẩn nằm ở tab [Hiding] và [Permalinks], còn XML-RPC ở tab [Cleanup].
Trình mô phỏng cài đặt Hide My WP
Bấm [See More] để chuyển đến danh sách nhật ký đó.
Mỗi dòng có thể bấm [Exclude], [Ban IP], [Delete], [Filter].
Có thể thay đổi danh sách bằng [Whitelist this IP], [Delete] và [Filter by Source].
[Feedback] dẫn đến URL lộ trình bên ngoài của nhà phát triển, và địa chỉ đó hiển thị [Page not found].
[Manual Configuration] mở trong tab mới các quy tắc cần tự thêm vào .htaccess.
Có thể đổi mọi ô; đổi bốn ô màu vàng rồi bấm [Save Settings] thì màn hình của khách chưa đăng nhập bên dưới sẽ thay đổi.

- You may need to reconfigure the server whenever you change settings or activate a new theme or plugin.

2️⃣ Đổi URL đăng nhập
Khi bật Hide Login Page ở tab [Hiding], [wp-login.php] mặc định trả về 404, và ô Login Query cùng Admin Login Key mở ra ngay khi đánh dấu.
Nhập địa chỉ mới như newlogin vào Change Login URL ở tab [Permalinks] rồi lưu thì màn hình đăng nhập mở ở địa chỉ đó. Nếu để trống địa chỉ mới, bạn chỉ có thể đăng nhập qua URL dự phòng gắn Login Query và Admin Login Key như [wp-login.php?hide_my_wp=1234]; vì URL dự phòng này mở ở mọi cài đặt, hãy đổi giá trị khóa khỏi mặc định 1234.
3️⃣ Cài đặt Hide Login Page & Hide Admin
Hide Login Page ẩn màn hình đăng nhập, còn Hide Admin ẩn /wp-admin/, địa chỉ của trang quản trị.
Nếu chỉ ẩn màn hình đăng nhập, khi khách chưa đăng nhập mở /wp-admin/, WordPress sẽ chuyển họ đến URL đăng nhập đã đổi, làm lộ địa chỉ mới. Giống như đổi mã cửa trước nhưng phòng bảo vệ vẫn báo mã mới cho bất kỳ ai hỏi.

Khi bật cả hai, /wp-admin/ và /wp-login.php đều thành trang không tồn tại (404), và chỉ quản trị viên biết địa chỉ đã đổi mới mở được màn hình đăng nhập.
Khi bật thêm Hide Admin, /wp-admin/ hiện ra như trang không tồn tại (404) với khách chưa đăng nhập, nên họ không thể biết URL đăng nhập mới.
4️⃣ Tắt XML-RPC
Dù đã ẩn URL đăng nhập, [xmlrpc.php] vẫn là một lối vào khác nhận tên người dùng và mật khẩu.
Khi bật Disable XML RPC ở tab [Cleanup], các yêu cầu cần đăng nhập bị từ chối với mã 405 và thông báo [XML-RPC bị vô hiệu hóa trên trang web này.], nhưng bản thân tệp [xmlrpc.php] vẫn phản hồi. Để yêu cầu không đến được PHP, hãy chặn trong cấu hình server.
Có lúc bỏ đánh dấu Disable XML RPC rồi lưu mà cài đặt vẫn bật, nên sau khi lưu hãy kiểm tra lại một lần nữa bằng phản hồi thực tế.
5️⃣ Quy tắc .htaccess còn sót lại sau khi tắt Hide My WP
Khi bấm [Save Settings], Hide My WP thêm quy tắc cho URL đăng nhập mới vào trong khối WordPress của .htaccess.

ℹ️ Thông báo tiếp thị liên kết
